[QUOTE=ShibbyUTD;6112620]I see the Caster runs two packs in a series. Does that mean much higher run time than a single pack?

Hmm...Tht's my truggy when it was still clean and bare. Ha! As Mike has said, packs wired in series gives u higher voltage so runtime is the same. i.e 2x 7.4v 5000mAh packs wired in series will give you 14.8v 5000mAh making it a 4s 5000mAh. I think you can try making a parallel connector instead of series if you want longer runtime. You'll ended up 2s 10000mAh with 2 x 7.4v packs. I'm thinking of doing up a 2 x 14.8v 5000mAh in parallel to give 4s, 14.8v 10000mAh. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still searching......

Unfortunately, tht's how we, the electrics have to run if we want to race with the nitros. The Finals run for 40mins.

Just be careful with that amount of weight in the car. It would be tough on any brand. I honestly don't see two 4S 5000 packs being a wise choice. Your only going to have issues. I would stick to the smaller packs and have a good pit guy to do battery swaps for you. I've seen it done and if done right very affective.
