Default E-firestorm

I'm looking to buy the e-firestorm. I will be doing only bashing around the neighborhood doing jumps etc. I would love opinions on the car and other suggestions. Also I would like to know if I was running it on trinity 6 cell 3600 mah battery's what type of speed and run times I would get.

associated t4rs is the better one. why? parts are available at tons of places. race inspired. related to the factory team edition truck. it shares the same parts. it has all the graphite and carbon parts that are light and strong.

T4 is an awesome racer but not durable enough for hard bashing in my opinion.

I have only seen an E Firestorm run a few times, we do have a nitro Firestorm and in my opinion it is terrible when it comes to durability. Look at it wrong and it breaks. For a durable basher I suggest a Traxxas Rustler, preferably a VXL model.

+1

Traxxas maxes some durable vehicles...I'd get the Traxxas Rustler VXL Brushless RTR over HPI myself if it was just the 2 to pick from.

The HPI can only take up to a 2 Cell LiPo, where the Traxxas can take up to a 3 cell. Something to think about for the future when you want to go faster....

From what I've heard the E firestorm is pretty durable. the earlier nitro ones were a little flimsy, but make sure to buy newer parts and they become pretty sturdy.

It is however, a better racer than basher, and if you want to chuck it around, a rustler would be better.

the flux can take 3s as it's got a CC sidewinder. it's just not advertised as being able to

I would think so....9.6v

But are you looking for just back and forth fast in the street? Might want to look at something that comes with a brushless then.....

I think you would be very lucky to see 40mph with a Titan even on 8 cells and if you did the motor would be short lived. The Titan just does not last very long when you start putting that kind of voltage to it. Go brushless

My opinion not a very good deal. You can buy a brand new XL-5 for that much. Used 1500 mah packs have no real value in my book.

The motor is better, the ESC? ...I duno maybe but not a huge difference if any at all. Used RC is roughly worth $0.50 on the $1.00 so the few added things to the truck dont add up to his asking price in my eyes.
