LiPo Batteries for 1:8 Scale Buggies

Hello, I need your guys decision on which LiPo batteries are better on 1:8 scale Buggies and Truggies. I am using an Xcelorin 2100Kv System and Novak 6.5 HV System. I do not want to get 4S LiPos because I also run 1:10 Scale electric. I am currently looking at four different brands of LiPo batteries. The first is the SMC Racing 2S 5000 mAh 28C HARDcase batteries. The Second one is TrakPower 2S 4900 mAh Gold HARDcase lipos. The third one is Thunder Power 2S 5100 mAh 25C eXtreme HARDcase Lipos. The Last one is another thunder power 2S 5000 mAh 30C Pro Race HARDcase batteries. Currently I use MaxAmps 6000 mAh batteries, the performance is Okay but it is not HARDcase. My batteries are only one month old and they are already looking old so I decided to sell them on eBay and get one of these. What do you guys think out of these four batteries will give good performance? What are your opinions on these batteries?

I have not heard any thing bad about any of your choices. I would look at how the power wire come off each and how it will fit in your cars. I would be looking at the 30C Thunder power for myself with my cars.

I'm guessing that what you mean to do is use a pair of 2s batteries in your 1/8 buggy then?

All of your choices are excellent. I will be getting the thunder power batteries as soon as I sell my 4s packs.

I posted this in the 1/8th electric conversion thread but figured it would be better to have a running list in a seperate thread.

Does anyone have a list of all the currently available hard cased packs? I'm curious to see what is out there in regards to 2S, 3S, 4S and 5S, their C rating, capacity and retail price.

We can copy and paste the list in this format:

MFG: (sort Mfg alphabetically, start with lowest C and mah then go up)

Myself and a number of others from our area are running the Zippy lipo packs. They have seemed to perform pretty well. And the price just can't be beat. Shipping on each order has been very fast. Overall a good product for the money.
