I have one but I like the 20C better, more power to the ground.

You made a good choice with the 5700. I built an elec crt.5 and had the same kind of choice to make and went with MM 4600 - only cause I occassionally do use a 3S with it. On 2S its a solid basher, its almost stupid fast on 3S, but controllable if I watch throttle.

is a 8.4v 5000ma nimh going to be a decent battery for stock racing as thre arnt many over here in aus yet and we dont have many classes of elect , i want to run at club level with this set up

the problem is my young kids will be using it as well and i dont want them the kill my lipos for me that is why i was going for nimh batts instead as well as trying to keep it stock, if lipo do you think just 7.4v or go up to 11v and what voltage cut off should i run with itas i read the esc does not have low volt cut off? ty

I like the Sanyo 1400 nicads they dont last long which decreases wear and tear and limits the amount of parts that need to be replaced. PLus making 5 minutes in a race is really hard to do so there is a challenge there as well.
