I have the 35amp ESC with the 3000kv motor, use it in my touring car and my Academy GV2, works awesome, reliable, with no issues. I have had it for about 3 monthes. For the price it cant be beat, if it lasts me a year I will have gotten my 70 bucks worth, it was a good way for me to try brushless/lipo without dropping major coin. Would do it again too, so go ahead and try one.

The shop I help out also sells the Venom Brushless and the SpeedPassion brushless systems. Both of these systems are from HobbyWing as well.

All I can answer are the first two: Yes and Yes. I finally went with the 35A EZrun with the 13T motor, which cost me $84.00, including shipping. I figured a used Trinity P2K2Pro cost $20, and a decent brushed esc cost at least $40, so I'm not spending too much money to get the benefit of brushless = no maintenance. Although I know I can get better performance from lipos, I plan to run mine exclusively on nimh, specifically my 3300 mah ones, which I currently have six packs. If this works out, I will probably use a version of this in all of my "non-water/snow" cars.

Here's the best thread I found regarding the EZrun:

2wdMod: Again, thanks for the advice and I'll let everyone know how it works out.

I deal with Yeah racing directly, and will be able to direct customes for the servicing and repair of their electronics, and also handling the submitting of the yeah racing hard cased li-pos to roar for approval along with the Sensorless brushless systems.
2wdmod I would be very interested in there 1/8th esc once it's released.
Please pm me when you know something more on this.

Kid, i wont be handling any of the 1/8 systems.word is hobbywing is keeping that to themselves so I doubt there will be a Yeah racing version of the 60a unit.

It does say when using lipos 2-3 cell only. I was thinking 1/8th scale and as pointed out these systems are not for 1/8th scale

for 1/8th scale you need an esc that handles 100 amp + continuous with a peak of at least 300amps 0n 4s. Your best bet is a castle esc.either a mamba max or monster max.
