Default First Lipo....cheapbatterypacks.com

Hey guys new to the LIPO scene. I want to get one and run it in my xxx-cr

Looks like cheapbatterypacks.com has really good prices. What would you recommend? I have the Traxxas VXL Velinien setup in the buggy and I run a spektrum dx3 Id like to get 20min run times.

I buy my cells for 1/12 from cbp.com (see my signature) I would go with the elite 4800 for the run time with the velineon. That 10t motor that comes with it makes a TON of power and is really god as far as mileage on batteries so the 4800 will get you in the 20min ballpark no problem.

2s is 7.4v, 3s is 11.1 v. . you can use either with the velineon,BUT have to add a cooling fan for the speedo for the 3s,11.1v battery.

Ok after doing a little more reading. Obviously the 2S is the pack I would be interested in getting.

What about this pack http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/mai...an=PQ&cat=PCAR

I know the hard case is ROAR legal now. What kind of times could I get with the 5100 I like how it already has the connectors on it as well and it's a 2s 7.4 with 5100mah

The poly quest pack is a little over priced. If you want a good hardcased lipo in the 5000mah range check out diggitydesigns.com. he has a new hardcae either 5100 or 5200(cant rememberLOL) for a reasonable price. Any thing in that Mah range is going to get you 20+ minutes with the velineon motor.

Enerland...Poly Quest...Poly RC...same maker different brand. They are not a true 30C/25C. It is more like a marketing ploy according to the ROAR Lipo inspector who races with me on our local tracks. Plus, I do not think they are ROAR approved so check with your local clubs to see if they let you run it.

Here is the most recent Lithium Batteries ROAR approved list for you to review.

trakpower mate! if you balance them when you charge them with a trakpower balancer they give you a lifetime warranty so if it warps or blows up you get urself a new one and apart from that they are seriously just wicked packs! i run 2s 5400's in my truck and they work an absoloute treat

at least it doesn't have that huge drop at 30c that I see with some packs.

and if you're not running mod, I doubt you're going to draw more than 90 amps.

I just started working with www.cheapbatterypacks.com after working with first Thunder Power and then MaxAmps for the past 5+ years of racing with li-pos in my E-1/8th scales and my 1/10th scale trucks/buggies for those in long electric mains including a recent finishing 2nd in the RC Pro Series Nats in a 45 minute main with my 1/10th scale stadium truck.

www.cheapbatterypacks.com has been the best company I have worked with on custom building batteries from the best quality cells and I have even sent packs back to be rebuilt to my specs with great customer service and no BS.

Thank you www.cheapbatterypacks.com !!!

I like the Elite series packs 30C and 35C ratings.
