yes I agree. These thigns you call "a piece of junk" have lasted me years. I have an original emaxx that has only broken once... An original stampede that has only had a few arms snap... The Slash is the same way...

Are you stupid? You must be, the motor they up in those things now these days on a 4S lipo they will do any bit of 45-50 MPH. A stock Slash with 2S
probably wont be able to go 32 MPH there slow as hell. Trust me you wont win.

How am I a too!l you don't know how I drive? Who said anything about 4 cell! I mentioned 2cells. porkey OK let me rephrase this. I will put my Stock Slash with a 2cell up against a Converted SC800.00+300.00 conversion with a 2cell and a comparable KV rated brushless.

It all depends on the track. Honestly a Slash on 2s could give the SC8 some competition on the right track... And if you consider a 30mph 2wd truck slow, then you must not have driven something like the Slash at 30mph...

hes got a point... My df-03... MM5700.. Could easily hit 70 with this buggy if not faster. I have it set to do about 35 right now and never have hit full speed...


I honestly think both of yall should drop it though and talk about the truck itself and not argue about if a slash can outrun a sc8 on the track...

I'm not arguing but your right. To me a 60+ car is no fun, speed runs are boring and there is no way an off-road car can go those speeds racing period. I race 1/8 scale on road so I know what fast is. I think electric is making a come back with lipo and brushless systems though. My personal opinion I think associated should of released the SC8 as a electric 4wd.
