Battery Eliminator Circuit. It reduces the pack voltage down to the ~4.8-6 volt level that receivers and servos need. Eliminates the need for a receiver battery.

+1 for the SpeedPassion GT or LPF. Can run anything including brushed motors, great support including on here like rraden mentioned.

+infinity on the program box, it is very cool. Maybe not as flashy/geeky as a PC hookup, but a lot handier. You asked for ease of programming, BINGO!

Novak & LRP are fine, but the blinkity lights just don't cut it after you've seen the program box. Haven't had a chance to try the Losi style card, may be comparable.

The Tekin RS and the RS pro both hook up to the computer but they require you purchase te hotwire set up for $30 more. The Tekin will run in both Sensored and sensorless mode and is VERY easy to prgram on the ESC. I have ran the GTB, LRP TC spec, and the speed passion. I like the Speed passion and the Tekin over the others for ease of use. The Tekin is the smallest of the group.

the Xcelorin ESC line are ALL fully programable via PC interface which is similar to the mamba offering.

The programming card only offers a small subset of the available programming.

The manual is available on the website and you can read about it and see most of the screen shots

Hope this helps
