The "invite only" is probably because it's just a single heat of cars to run as a demo... but not add too much to the race schedule. I doubt there is even an entry fee... and I'm sure they want a good representation for the class and not a bunch of hacks show up. Electric 1/8 is a bit like the wild west you know...

Notice that there is also a limit of 180 entries at this event, and that's their right too.

There are plenty of invitational events in rc.... so I wouldn't get worked up over this one.

interestin they go off last yr. i dont think RCPD was around. surely we didnt have 1 (well if caster does exist 2) buggies on store shelves. battery, charger, and motor tech coming along with new speedos out there. to say they didnt get much last yr---sounds like some1 has been asleep at the wheel drunk off a nitro lol

RCPD has been around for 4-5 years.They started off making a 4wd dirt conversion for the tc3. the tc3v0. decent 4wd buggy before the b44 and the lazer zx5.
