Default Associated Rc10 News Flash

I was looking to buy a new Factory Team B4 today, and believe it or not, it is only available in a rtr form now. The FTB4 is on the discontinued list of information. I can not believe that Associated would discontinue one before a new one arrives. This could really be a shock to off road electric racing if they do this. Some of us still like running electric offroad. They still have hop up parts, but no FT Kit listed.

Maybe it was a mistake, if it was, maybe they could send me one for free for pointing it out to them it is not on their website.

It is strange that it is no longer listed on their website. I wouldn't read to much into though. They are the current world champs and a racing company. I doubt they would discontinue the car cold without prior notice. I also don't think a new one is coming. If it is, it would be the best kept secret in the history of the industry.

Probably just an oversight on their end. Send them an email, let us know what they say.

mybe the halt of production has something to do with the newer kits coming with the plastic chassis instead of the graphite, like kinda phasing it out so the wont have a ton of stock laying around when the new car comes out.or maybe they are pulling a Traxxas/ losi move and jumping to RTR's exclusively

They did that a few months ago when they made running changes to the kit. They were backed ordered for a while. They changed the packaging at the same time. People refer to the new kits a "black box" kits. Some people feel the quality of the new kits is below that of the older production kits.

All I know is i built 2 t4 kits within 6 months of each other. 1 pre buyout, and 1 post buyout. There was a deffinite difference in quality of both the machined peices and the molded peices. I hate to say it ,but I saw the corporate change over taking hold then. It will be REAL interesting to see what happens over the next few months I think.

yeah re release the old B3 as a B5

cant see the b4ft on their site either.. cant really see why they should discount the car as its still one of the very best out there.. but then again a new car would be good for the sales, especially now when christmas is coming up!!

Default Worlds results

I believe the cars that won the worlds were Associated, but had X-factor kits installed.

Maybe X-factor will produce a complete kit now.

I would highly doubt that. AE's website isn't automated in any way (or doesn't appear to be). Their web savvy as a company is lacking.

Troy , apparently you didn`t click on Kits & RTRs and scroll down to electric . Show RTR , FT , and Team kit right next to one picture .
