Losi 8ight 2.0 conversion
I was lucky enough to get one of the 1st 2.0's and was wondering if anyone else out there is going to convert one to electric? Thought we could start a thread to help each other work out some of the kinks. I got mine 3/4 done, not sure what I am going to do about the body though. I have to find out if a crowd pleazer body for the old car will work. Anyone have any ideas

Well I went to the track and had a few issues. Should have taken the buggy apart and gone through it before I took it out. Typical issues you would expect from a prebuilt buggy like screws that fell out. after I worked through some of the issues it seemed to work really well. Motor and ESC worked well and the buggy is nice. I need to dial it in but other than that, it turned well and handled the rough ok. I tried a MMM in it with the Lehner motor and I liked it much better. This is the best controller I have tried so far. Nice job Castle! I am going to take my Neu 1515 1y and try it in it next. I think that this is the right combo, so hopefully all will go well. I wish Losi would come out with a better body of the E that had more room for the batteries. When I use my 4s pack it hits the body, and it seems like if there was a little more room there it would be better. Also the body sucks at the back hole of the body, poor design. It breaks way too easy. Come on pro line, make an aftermarket body for this thing please!!!

Would anyone care to venture a guess, knowing Losi's history, how likely are they to release an 8ight 2.0 in Kit form?
Or am I waiting for something that'll never happen...

Losi had a poll a while ago and the question was if you were considering buying a race vehicle, would you prefer a kit or race roller? Race roller must have one because that is all they are making these days.
