Default Offroad slicks

Was wondering if anyone has ever tryed the Panther Burner slicks in clay compound and how they compare to a "Pink slick"?

I run them from time to time. They are fairly comparable to the pink slick.

Hey Jeremy, I have tried a set and at HHR there was NO noticeable difference. However, I had a hard time getting the same tires to work at Planet (Last time they were open).
Last night i was on Pinks with Bomb 1 foams that are almost used up (soft)
and had a dash of "DEATH GRIP" on for good measure.
on my 4wh I never cleaned the tires all night and was hooked just the same.

tks for coming out, it was fun racin with ya

Thanks for the info guys. I had a good time running with you guys as well. There are some really fast guys that race there and hopefully some of that will rub off. Thanks to everyone and I hope I didn't slow anybody down too much. Special thanks to Chris for bailing me out on the power supply cord. Looking forward to running with everyone again soon.

No problem, Jeremy, anytime.

Back on topic. I actually prefer the panther slicks on my RB5 over dremeled pink tapers. I think the stiffer sidewall allows more predictability over the taller and softer side-walled pink tapers. With that said, when a track is in the grey area of being suitable for a slick or a slight pin, I prefer the dremeled tapers. They seem to give better grip when the track is starting to dry out.
