With the extended chassis, is the wheelbase close to that of the Slash?

i dont know the size of Slash..

my car have almost 13 inches wheelbase..extended chassis plus Adjustable Front Bulkhead...

but i dont advise INTEGY hop ups!! very very soft alluminum..bends like lead!!

take a look in my wheelie bar and rear tower!!! and that was in my very first ride!! very slow ride, BTW...slippery dirt track, impossible go fast..

and in a 3 feet jump, the front arm is broke ..pure garbage!! now i will try a monster dog (fastlane)arms and tower

it seems that stock plastic parts is stronger!!

cheers!!!

RPM arms and fastlane machine parts are great and stronger than integy

That looks sweet. Makes me wish I kept my FLM Rusty. Integy is garbage. Might as well just flush your cash down the toilet. The FLM arms are great, but I would recommend the RPM arms all around. You want a little flex on the arms which will prevent breakage in case of cartwheels. Alum arms don't flex much and will just force the weakest part to break.

Hello Topolino,

This is my first post here as well. You have done something here that I have been thinking about for a while. I want to make my Rustler into a 1/8th car, but I dont even know where to start. My Rustler was a very old one, which I have completely upgraded to a VXL, but I want to upgrade to aluminum parts where I can. Now, I want to start on a 1/8 conversion. I see what you are using for the chasis, etc, but do not know what hardware you are using to get the body to fit. Do you think you could provide a basic parts list of what you used to get the car to the 1/8th scale? Also, that bracket on top of your rear tower...will that only work for this Suburu Impreza body?

Thanks Topolino.

Thank you, Topolino. I'll take a look. If I need to, I can use a translation website to translate the portuguese into english.
