MIP. it's the only stuff that comes off easily. it just pulls off in a strip. everything else leaves a ton of residue and crap.

beyond that, 3m makes very good double sided tapes.

Yup, couldnt be happier with the novak stuff, as long as you aerent trying to hold a servo in place you will be ok.

Comes off very easy, no residue and has a great cushion to it.
Tater salad the stories behind nick names how it stuck at that track is beyond me, good times, short lived, forever missed FHR.

MIP is the strongest I've tried, but none really hold a servo. To get completely rid of my strg servo moving, I epoxied the servo to the chassis. That finally eliminated the strg slop.

I like the Parma clear tape. Sticks way better than you might think when you buy; and no residue at all when removing.

Looking to hold a servo, try Shoe Goo. The best for holding electronics and repairing bodies.

FYI the Parma tape is just repackaged 3M clear double sided tape. I think the last roll I bought actually had 3Ms logo on the red backing. It does hold well and is easy to remove but a little on the thick side. The stuff Novak sends is similar but much thinner. I'll have to check out the MIP stuff!

it looks to me like the novak and the parma are just rebadged 3m clear. they all work equally as well as eachother and pull off the chassis with relative ease. buying the 3m rolls are way more economical as well.

Not sure if the 3m stuff they are talking about is the same as you'd get for automotive use or not, but that stuff can't be beat! Autozone carries the good stuff thats gray and about an 1/8th inch thick. If it can hold a molding on a car at 80 miles an hour.... Just make sure you clean the surfaces with a window cleaner before you apply. Personally, I think thats why most servo tapes fail.

They aren't kidding about the residue though. This stuff is a pain to get off! Usually involves beer and solvents....
Pick me!

3M clear that you find in most hardware stores. Like it was mentioned earlier, make sure the surface of both pieces are clean and it'll hold as long as you want/need it to while still coming off when you want it to with no reside or foam left behind.
