Default 2008 CRCRC Halloween Trophy Race

Have ghoulish great time at CRCRC’s Halloween Trophy Race.
We will trophy 1-3 in the A-Main and TQ.
Cost per entry will be $20 for the 1st, and $10 for the 2nd entry.
Dates and Classes are listed on flyers.
Time:
Friday: open 6pm
Sat: Open 12 noon
Sun: Open 8am

Slash Rules Link

Spec Class Rules
1. Batteries - Any 6-Cell Nickel based or 2 Cell (7.4v) LiPo
2. Body - Any CORR style body specifically made for the Slash
3. Chassis - No modification to the chassis. No modifications that will effect suspension/steering geometry
4. Differential - Traxxas Gear diff only
5. ESC - Traxxas XL-5 only
6. Gearing (Spur/Pinion) - Traxxas 83, 86 (Stock) and 90 tooth spurs only. Any pinion that will fit without modification.
7. Motor - Traxxas Titan 12T ONLY
8. Radio - Stock or Aftermarket
9. Receiver - Stock or Aftermarket
10. Servo - Stock or aftermarket
11. Suspension - Traxxas black or white springs only. You may use any oil in the shock.
12. Tires - Traxxas Slash tires only
13. Weight - No lighter than 88oz - Approx weight of vehicle (76.2oz) with 3300mAh stick pack (12.4oz).
14. Wheels - Traxxas Slash wheels only

Upgrades
Traxxas brand aluminum caster blocks, stub axle carriers, steering blocks, bellcranks and shock caps.
*Upgrade parts must not have tuning options not available on stock parts.

Here is the facility from last year. Of course the layout is different now, but if you haven't been there this should give you an idea of the surface and size. Not sure if the layout will be changed again for the Halloween race or not, it usually is. The first layout at CRCRC this year was one of the best I've raced on (again, the layout below is from last year!).

Are the tires for electric still varying degrees of pink tapers?

What time (round about) will nitro racing wrap up on sat? & Will there be practice afterwards? PLEASE!

What time does racing start on sun??

i am new to the off road class so i would be runnign in novie is there still a trophy for that class

i also was just wondering if the qualifers are on the same day as the mains???
when does mod 2wd and novice qualify and when are the mains???

For Electric guys, Qualifiers and mains will run on Sunday. So get that RB-5 out and try to win the Novice class.
