Adam, Guys are mostly running pink tapers. If you have a set that is worn and you have a set that has good amount of pin you'll be fine. Typically you could probably run slicks in the morning, but not many do, guys just aren't used to running slicks over here like they used to at Planet. As far as practice after the nitro mains on Saturday, I don't think so. The club waters heavy after the nitro racing is over so that it is nice and sticky for the electric guys in the morning.

Should be a great turnout, electric has come back to life this year.

I know a few of us that might come really wanted to be there sat night. Mostly because its a 3+ hour drive. Practice afterwards til a certain time would be a major plus. If not we'll just come over later I guess.

I think last year the Saturday nitro race got over very late. There should be plenty of practice time on Sunday morning so that would be your best bet IMO.

There has been a wall added by the club to help keep the pits a bit warmer and there will be a revisions to the current layout to change it up. The top indoor track in the area just got a little bit better.

What classes do you expect to be big? I heard today that stock 2wheel and truck, along with 10.5 4wd are the big classes. If that's so, I'm probably not going to make it. What classes have been big at your club races?

Slash, Mod 2w, Stock 2w and Mod 4w have been the biggest classes. You can check the results page at crcrc.com if you want exact numbers. There may be guys running 10.5's in 4w but we haven't had a 10.5 specific class this year. I think that who ever you talked with may be confusing that with the Jan. Race which will have a 10.5 4w class, as well as Mod 4w.

Bring out that D4 for some mod 4wd. Mod 2wd and mod 4wd will have good turnouts, so will both stock classes and slash. Mod truck would be the biggest question, but there should be a class. There are several locals that have been running stock truck that would likely run mod if needed.

Come on out, it will be a good time.

There will be a track change this week.

Mod 4wheel has been getting bigger. 2wd buggy is popular as well (stock or mod).

Check the results pages on the main site to see the exact numbers.

Glad you mentioned the time change. I had spaced that out.

I will be making my first ever trip to CRCRC and I am pumped about it. This weekend can't come fast enough.
