Default Kyosho/Losi shocks on a T4?

Anyone done this? Seems I read somwhere about it but cant find it now. I am just not happy with the Associated shocks I'm using.

You dont like the Associated shocks? Why?
Are they the non threaded or the threaded ones?
I think the Associated shock are the nest I have ever ran!
The Losi's leak too much IMHO
Never had a Kyosho though...

There are a number of T4/B4/B44 drivers at my local track with threaded Losi shocks. They run them for two reasons. 1. They are a one piece design that does not have an easily breakable plastic top cap. 2. They say the Losi shocks are easier to bleed thus making them more consistent.

I have a couple of sets of Losi shocks and do like them a lot. However, the overall quality of the Kyosho shocks seem better to me, but they have plastic top caps like the AE shocks that break from time to time. I'm hoping someone will make an aluminum top cap replacement.

Your kidding me right? The losi shocks leak way less than the associated shocks. There is even a whole thread here on RC Tech. talking about how to minimize how much the associated shocks leak.Besides if you want leak free super smooth shocks you cant beat the kyosho shocks. They are the best ive seen in my 22 yrs of racing.I will admit I do run a set of losi shocks on one of my academy gv2's. They leak hardly at all compared to the shocks on my t4.

I have been thinking about this as well. I have a RB5 and a T4 so i am going with the Kyosho ones. They are far and away the best i have ever used. Very easy to build and way smooth. And they dont leak! The original RB5 rear body ith the new long shaft should work in the back and the new short body ith the shorter rear shaft should work up front.
