Default Who makes the NiMH cells that are used in packs?

Who makes the actual NiMH "cells" that are used in packs from the various name brand companies?

Nowadays there are a ton of Chinese manufacturers producing batteries. Certain Sanyo cells are now even being produced in China, how ironic. Some other manufacturers are Toshiba, Panasonic, Gold Peak, Power Sonic, Varta, Energizer, just to name a few.

Are there any cell manufacturers that are consistently used by the top race pack manufacturers?
