Default RUN IT OR TRASH IT ?

Should i run it or trash it ? I had a wreck in my converted crt.5 and this is the out come .

trash that thing!! It looks like the cells were dented on the end you did the close-up pic of.I dont think I would try charging it.Dont just throw it away though. Leave it sit in a bucket of water to dead short it and discharge it completely before you dispose of it.

the cells look fine, charge it and watch it closely, if it puffs, then toss it. It doesn't seem like there's much damage to the cells, moreso on the cover. Again, watch it closely. The cells don't look punctured.

its hard to say if the cells are swelled then trash it if not
then try to charge it in a lipo sack

just make sure you charge it in a lipo sack in case something does go wrong.. i really dont know if it is worth the risk...

My question is,if your lipo looks like that after the crash.......what does the rest of the car look like????????????

It just looks like the case popped open, from what I can see the cells look ok. Like someone else said, if the cells aren't puffed and feel nice and firm, they should be ok. Just monitor them closely while you charge.

From what I can see in those pics I really don't think you would have any trouble with it. Quite honestly those cases aren't put together too well in the first place. So it probably looks much worse than it really is.

Just put it in a safe place and try charging.

buying a new one sounds like a good idea to me.. keep that onw in a safe place for a backup in an extreme situation

I hooked it to the charger today and it will not charge , So i get to buy a new battery .
