I have 2 of them. They use Kokam cells which are arguably amongst the best on the market. A little pricey but mine have been phenomenal.

i had the 4800 when they 1st came out in our LHS (i think almost 2 yrs ago? ) and its still going strong

if youre getting a new one, i suggest looking at the 5000mah platinum two, if lhs price is about the same as a 4800.

I will use nothing but Orion lipos in my cars! I have seen to many other batterys fail and why waste the money to buy cheaper batterys go bad. I have had the Orion 4800 platinum for a little over a year and it feels like the day I got it. I balance my batterys before every charge and never have a problem. I wish they would make a saddle pack for my B44 though!!

Orion is the number one choice for Lipo packs by people who buy their stuff stuff at the hobby shop. Need we say more.

+1 for saddle packs! They worked great in my XXX-4, but with my D4 it's a no-go. Well at least I stil can use them in my XXX-CR and Slash. ORION #1
