I agree on the body thing. Most people will want to run their own paint scheme, plus when there is a pile-up at the first turn it's going to be hard to tell which body/truck is whos.

There are clear TRAXXAS SLASH bodies available now..

imo, i think the TRAXXAS bodies look a lot better than the ProLine. That funky wing they modled into the rear pretty much ruins it.. no bueno

All the details should be finalized by the end of the week with an official announcement early next week. I will post everything as soon as we get it from Traxxas.

Just curious...why not just have a "spec" class (which uses the "Slash V1 rule") and an Open class? The expert and open class rules both look very similar to each other. This might cut down on some possible confusion for those that wants to sign up and for those doing tech

Either way, I'm definitely running this race

There is less then a month and I havent heard anything about this race other then rules, I dont get it. The Reedy race this weekend would have been a good place to advertise this race, alot of Slash drivers and some good racing.

Oh well.

More details are needed. WHere is the info ?

The rules posted before were awful. Need to revise and race it the way every track does. Box stock and open.

I agree...they are a bit confusing, and conforming to what other track is currently doing would allow more people to participate without having to spend extra money just to attend

I agree on the two classes: Spec and Open.

Funny, the Spec class...the class that is SUPPOSED to be box stock...out of the box...nothing more than what comes in the box...

...allows you to use all the aluminum tuning parts. Yet you can't add diff oil! Go figure.

oh no...not this diff oil thing again... j/k

don't you know aluminum parts will add far greater performance to your Slash than some 20-30k diff oil??? (biased opinion of course )

Still waiting on the final word..... It is my understanding that Traxxas reworked the rules as it is their event.
