Xxx-ke2

I diddn't see a thread for this yet so I thought i would get one started.

I really like the the KE2 because they got rid of all the blue plastic and the new transmission and suspension should make tuning easier and more versitile. I cannot wait untill it comes out.

I think the arm changes is a nice feature...but it weakens the arms so on real off-road tracks and not dirt road courses it seems that the arms may break a lot easier...but now and days a lot of the tracks have maybe 1 or 2 jumps where the car gets 6-8inches off the ground. I think those arms will not last on a track like the tiltyard..where your car can get about 3 feet off the ground over the big jumps.

No blue wheels:cry: I loved them. Oh well, the old wheels would still fit.

xxxtracer32 09-18-2003 08:45 PM

sorry, i wasnt a fan of those blue or even red wheels for them. brian kindwald and matt frances didnt even run those so why would they even put them in?:weird:

Randy Caster 09-19-2003 06:19 PM

I'll be getting one for off-road racing when it comes out, I'm so glad they killed off the blue junk...

Jon Kerr 09-20-2003 09:28 AM

It's about time  Family is getting a nice surface on it at night. Especially with a little water and swept corners

Randy Caster 09-22-2003 12:32 PM

Yeah, I've heard that... I guess it's time for me to get out there, since it's only a 15 minute drive rather than 90 mins :weird:

Jon Kerr 09-22-2003 01:12 PM

I'm not going to make it this Friday. I have inventory at work all night plus I just sent my radio in to Airtronics. My range has gone to nothing. I got a glitch that won't go away. If I get more than 30ft. away it goes nuts. We spent all day yesterday eleminating all other possibilities while we were at Corona. :flaming: Drove all the way up there and didn't finish any qualifiers and didn't even run the main.

Randy Caster 09-22-2003 01:44 PM

That sucks, I gotta work Friday night as well, how late do they stay open though, I might drop by after work, hopefully Pat will be there playing on the track.

Jon Kerr 09-22-2003 01:52 PM

They're open until 9. But Patrick is going to be in Indianapolis. The ass is going to the US Grand Prix and not taking me

Randy Caster 09-22-2003 10:08 PM

I get off at 9, so no track for me. Will you guys be there the following week?

Jon Kerr 09-23-2003 06:38 AM

Should be. Jay came last week too so he may be out there again.

astroloft 09-23-2003 08:05 PM

Randman, Jkerr: are you guys racing at Family?

I have been trying to get my XXX going, but a new part is busted everytime I go. Were you guys there on Friday night?
Buggies, STs?
