Default Any idea's??

Put the sidewinder in the slash today and am running a 5700kv motor. Got it installed, matched all the plugs up to each color and everything, take it outside and it just sits there. So I go to tun the wheels to see if they worked and the thing took off.. I turn the wheel right, it goes forward, I turn the wheel left, it goes reverse. Throttle does nothing in reverse or forward. So I figured the plugs must be swapped around for some reason, so I swap them around every which way I could figure, and it still does it. Then Im thinking, ok, maybe I have the plug into the reciever backwards.. Nope.. then it does nothing...
Any idea whats going on, or how I can fix this??? (I called Castle today and there closed )

Im running the stock reciever with stock controller and a 7 cell 5000mah battery if it matters

are you running the sytock radio.

if so you may have put them in the battery spot and not the ch1 for esc and ch2 for steering. i think ive been using spektrum and they dont go by ch.

make sure not in the batt. port.

I finally figure it out..

For some reason theres 2 channel ones on the stock reciever, and I had them both in there. I had tried to move the esc to channel two but in order for it to work, I apparently had to move the steering servo up to the 2nd channel 1 for it to work..

All I can say after getting it fixed though is holy crap.. I knew itd be faster but good god.. I can barely keep control of it (Loose gravel).. What a blast..

No such a thing.
There might be ports for Channel 1 & Channel 2 & a third port for the receiver battery, but never 2 seperate Channel 1's.
