Lou, they should atleast consider it right? If they put my car on the box, I'd drop a nut.

RBfive, fo sho They would only have to engineer a couple parts to make it happen. B4 World's Car!!

I've had 4 or 5 B4's and on my 7th T4. I dont see myself getting another till something new.

That would be badass. How about GT2 QC? or shock caps with bleeders?

It would make our hobby that is advancing look better. I don't know how many times someone checks out a $500 touring car that looks like a pile because it has 40 million stick on wieghts making it look like a frankenstien project!
I guess if you want everything done for you, maybe it's time for an RTR.

A lipo/BL car would sell like crazy i think. Dont need to redesign just bulk up some of the parts(arms for example), weight the chassis, and lower the final drive(smaller diff).

They could just come out with a new tranny back to the old school 1.85 ratio and call it good. No need to completely redesign the car.

However you look at it, the B4 and T4 still win races, but if they were to come out with a updated kit, then I would want to see the things aeRayls posted included with the kit. Other then that there really is no need to change the kit.

As for running li-po what more can you really do to a car that has the battery mounted down the center? It isn't a TC where batteries are mounted along the out side of the chassis, so when you use a li-po you have to add a bunch of weight to it to make it ballanced. Really the only reason people add weight to their car is to make weight, and most of the current set-ups just work with the added weight.

Wild`s wish list

#1 vertical ball stud`s for ft caster block & back hub
#2 off-set spur gear & motor mount so motor is centered middle of chassis
#3 reposition rear shock tower more forward on chassis....
#4 offer a straight rear arm , no bend on the outside....
#5 A set of rear dogbones just like the losi design ....

It has nothing about things done for me. I like to build kits, and I run touring car where nothing is right unless you set everything yourself. Just saying times a changing and someone should build a car that has the right gear ratio, and balance. They didn't build the B4 thinking that everyone was going to run Lead Acid 12v batteries, but if we started too run those and someone came out with a specific car to fit those then they would build it or not sell any cars. Better yet if someone comes out with a brushless lipo car and it wins at the club level and prof. level I bet it will outsell the NIMH/brushed designed cars. Look at the rear pod evolution in 1/12th scale. Try to fit a brushless motor in a older model. People are buying new 1/12th scales beause they are balanced and fiit the brushless motors we are all using.

Just a thought.

What advantage does a vertical ball stud offer that a horizontal doesn't? I thought they were mechanically equivalent.
