Default braking

Adjust your brakes on the radio. Not sure if that is the epa you are talking about, but on the sketrum radio there is a switch/button on the handle part where you can increase and decrease the amount of brake applied.

I'd restart the setup from scratch.
Make sure your radio is set to where the instructions say.
Pick the profile that best suits your needs.
Sounds like your throttle trim may not have been in the middle of the adjustment range.
You should be able to dial out brake with the throttle trim like described by uncle e.

When I mash on the brake my car doesn't stop but continues to roll. A tap causes the tail to swing. I can't win

I see you have the spektrum controller. Your not using the same profile for 2 different cars are you? Also what receiver are you using with DX3r.
Personally I would rebind , start a new profile and reset the brake and gas set up over. Also what profile are you running on the GTb and have you inadvertenly messed with the drag brake setting on the GTB?

dynodan - I'm assuming your question was directed at me. I'm using the SR3100 RX, default profile on the GTB and my brake trim on the TX is 100%. I've got the min brak set at 7 blinks. Other than that, everything is at default.
