Default tires tires tires

ok im gettin tires for my slash and need your advice. the track i go to (Pegasus) has very little traction. will this setup work well?

Front: http://www.xtownrc.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id/6730

Rear: http://www.xtownrc.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id/6724

the rear is very grippy and i like the front because its half n half, i think that will work well, because i see people using the sand tires with just the lines there, and they work well. Opinions??

How about buying tires at Pegasus?

Supoort the local hobby shop that OWNS the track you race at.

I agree also with the fact that your track and other regulars can get you better setup then someone across the country .

If you're going to RACE at Pegasus, you need to use the stock Slash tires. If you're just running on the Wednesday "basher practice", anything goes.

I don't see why they wouldn't work but the problem is getting them to work well. Have you found out what the locals are running?

Might want to talk to the hobby shop , they might cut you a deal
you be suprised with our economy like it is. Besides at least the money
will go back into the track you will be bashing at. The hobby shop
is usally not trying to scalp you their just trying to cover over head.
Most people can understand with the money situation. Just don't be mad if they don't want to jump up and service you in the future as you continue to buy from the internet. They may also price match the web price. A little talking to a person goes a long way.

Naaahhh...they just have idiots pricing stuff. They sell stuff at/near full retail...but they're huge and they have plenty of people buying from them, so they get away with it.

They do have good deals on motor/nitro spray though...LOL Pretty much everything else is "full pop"

It's all about Speedtech BABY. They're local, too.

They're not idiots, they just can't price as low as mail order and still make money. A Store is much more expensive to own and operate than an online business and unless you really like VRC one thing an online business can't provide is a track for you to use the stuff they sell you.

$15 for a pair of tires is about the average price for 1/10 truck .
