FT T4 or XXX-T CR For B/L Setup
Im thinking of getting one of these, like the quick change wheels on the losi but i have heard the tranny's are a lil weak for a brushless setup, not racing, just cruising around the neighborhood jumping my ramp in the yard and some light offroad in the dirt... havent heard anything bad about the AE truck yet... But I know i hate those pin type wheels it uses, is there a hex conversion for it??

I agree, if you just bash, get the rtr. I never owned a losi xxx-t, but know people that do and they have to rebuild the diff every 5 runs. I have only rebuilt the diff on my T4 once in a year, and its about time for its second one. The T4 has been a good truck

Losi now also makes a gear diff, from the Desert Truck I think.
The ball diff should last a lot longer than a few runs, but they do take some experience and checking of the settings. Especially after the first run or so of break in. The gear diff should run a long time without much looking after.

+1 I only go through it for occassional maintenance. Other then that I have had no problems.
Usually if you are having problems with something you are not doing something right to begin with like setup and adjustments. I have had both and still prefer the losi, but like anything else it is up to the person buying, and I got my Losi cr free! Ilike to feel of the truck better then the T4 I had.

The XXX-T CR uses a modified version of the Regular XXX-T tranny which works very well. It was the tranny in the XXX-T MF2 truck that had problems when brushless power was applied.
