Are there handout motors for the stock/spec classes?

There were no handout motors last year.

OK, that's what I thought. Hopefully I can make it out for some 19T buggy.

Sorry to have to announce we will not be running Electric 1/8th during the Electric race this year.

The main factor is that we have very limited time to build the track this year and it will likely be very soft during the electric race, too soft for 1/8th size vehicles.

It's my understanding that Electric 1/8th will be able to run during the Nitro race weekend.

If they just keep the normal classes they will still probably have to turn people away. The one way to make a race start to die is to take the same number of people 350 and dilute the actual classes. The one thing I love about this race is seeing so many mains of just a few classes. I for one love my slash as well, but this is a big time travel race. I'm not going to lug that thing on the plane. Also I have to try and get time off from work for this and might have to sign-up latter then when they put the entry sheet out. I will be upset if I miss out on a class when I'm flying to this race because a slash is taking my place. Maybe a demo class would be ok, but not if it is included in the 350 entries.
P.S I borrowed a tech name. This really is Rob Betts I stand behind what I say and do it without a silly name to hide behind. This race has been great for years why mess with a good thing

This is a very good point, and the main reason we have shelved the Slash idea. I think they're cool too, but not really for a national caliber race.

Thanks for the props on the race.

Bikeracer, definately will! That wind storm was freakin crazy, leavin town was like something you see in the movies, all traffic lights were out trees and signs blowin on the road and mass confusion at every intersection! The trip was still well worth it even though we didnt get to run the mains on sunday, got lots a wheel time on sat. and had a blast.

I like this option.

I know I would be up for the 17.5 stock truck and buggy and also the superstock 10.5 or 13.5 buggy.

Ok I got my regular name again. It's Rob Betts again. I'm down for making it a full 2 day race, or even going back to how it used to be stock one day mod the next you tell me what you decide if it 2 days I'll run all mod and if it one day stock one day mod I'll run all mod and stock buggy and truck. You said the track might be soft were still going to be on taper pins right??????

A 2 day deal might not be that bad. It might work. What kind of classes and on what days did you have in mind?

I would think you could make Saturday the stock day with the following classes.
17.5 / 27t Truck
17.5 / 27t Buggy
13.5 / 10.5 / 19t Buggy
13.5 / 10.5 / 19t Truck
13.5 / 10.5 / 4wd
Run the stock day like a normal club day. 3 Quals and a Main

Then on Sunday have mod.
Mod Buggy
Mod Truck
Mod 4wd
You could run mod day with 4 quals and triple a-mains

Just my 2 cents. I would be up for saturday and then stick around sunday to watch the big dogs battle it out.

Problem with the 2 day stock/mod format was that too many pros ran stock for the additional track time, which sort of defeats the purpose IMO.

They have already said it will be qualifying on Saturday and Mains on Sunday. Saturday was long enough as it is last year.
