I vote SuperStock (13.5) and open Mod Buggy, Truck, and Mod 4Wheel.

Ah yes, the great debate over classes. The bad part is we can never make EVERYONE happy, but we do our best.

Here is what we have so far for sure.

-13.5 Truck (Brushed 27T)
-13.5 Buggy (Brushed 27T)
-Mod Truck
-Mod Buggy
-Mod 4WD

There will be at least one more class, but that is still under discussion as of right now.

Please, no flames over 17.5 vs 13.5 vs 27T vs 19T. We have heard, and had many arguments over the subject. We feel 13.5 is close to the old "Stock" classes, and more appropriate and more popular than 17.5.

JAKE S. there will NOT be a 13.5 4WD class.

We do have an entry cap. I think it was 350 entries last year. We were sold out last year.

Most of the big names were in attendance last year, but I don't think Hartson was there. I thought I read somewhere that school was kind of eating into his racing time lately.

that is ok, was just hoping for a "non-full mod" class, not like my ability would get me into the higher up mains in either

Will a lipo sack be required?

I'll be returning after way too long away, with my fully sponsored Team Driver (ok, my son) Sounds like it will be in the same place it was in the early mid '90s? Looking forward to a fun event just like in the day. Thanks!

Hey J_P, you making it back again next year (2009), yea... I know it's a stupid question . I might be back too... if they can get my name right next year (yea, it's NOT Turdor)

So... What's the extra class going to be guys, Enduro truck, or 1/8 electric .

P.S. Also let us know about li-po rules for all classes. Thanks.

That is great you are going back to the fairground and that you are addressing the issues from last year, maybe this year I dont come home sick with a sinus infection and brochitis. For the people who design the track please dont build it for the top 15% of the drivers. If you put a big A$$ triple then make sure the landing area is adequate, PLEASE. The track you had at the state fairground was AWESOME-PERIOD.

Doug, I promise we'll get your name correct this year.

We haven't finalized all rules, but since ROAR has accepted Lipo it's pretty much open season.

As far as the "other" class, we are considering the following.

*Outlaw Truck (20 min main)
*Sportsman 4WD (19t or 10.5)
*Slash Who knows if it will still be "hot" by January, and the rules and tech could be a nightmare since it seems every track is running their own rules. But it is an inexpensive way for people to get into the hobby, and it could be a way to draw more people in.
