One quick question is the layout going to be designed for 1/10 cars only and then they make a different one for 1/8 like in the old days. The last few years with the layout for both it's kinda been rough. Quick flash back about 36 hours of hearing "watch the triple". I just remember a few years back were 8-10 seconds was the seperation from the a main to the back of the b main. The last few years the a main was like 15 seconds or more from top to bottom. With the track being more for 1/8 it seemed even the best in the world had trouble putting clean runs together.

I'll be there either way just an observation I've made the last few years

the layout last year would have worked well for 10th scale if:

- The triple was parallel to the drivers stand so you didn't lose view of your car if you double/singled it.
- The landing transition was steeper and longer for those wanting to triple it.

Other than that I thought the layout was killer and really fun to drive! Can't wait to go again!

Hopefully we can drag more Canadians down with us this year.

You should go ahead and call the Stock classes, "Super Stock" with it being 13.5.

I voted for calling them Frank but no one listens to me.

Unfortunately with the minimal time we have between the Electric race and the Nitro race there is no way to rebuild the track and expect it to stay together.

Thanks for the input on the track. I'm sure we'll have a great layout for the race. I'm sure taper pins will still be the tire of choice, but we'll probably have to leave some pin on them.

JP, we did intend to call it Super Stock, I just forgot.

We Suggest a Lipo sack for charging soft packs.

I would say go with the 13.5 for stock since it will be the roar standard next year. I think the 2 day event would be best for keeping factory guys out of stock but then you lose entries.

you do realize that if a lipo is gonna catch fire it doesnt matter if its hardcase or soft its gonna go up.. although it is rare. (unless someone charges with a cheap charger and falls asleep lol )

I dunno...I saw a hard case lipo go up in smoke and the case allowed enough time for someone to get the car outside and battery out of the car...no damage to anything but the battery. May have been a different story if it was a soft case.

...of couse I wouldn't recommend carrying a smoking lipo anywhere so your point is well taken.

Nope.

But I can't see it being an issue since this isn't a ROAR race. Plus ROAR has actually granted some exceptions at some ROAR Regional races to allow castle if the track requests ahead of time.

But I would like to hear it from CRCRC ahead of time that this isn't going to be an issue just to be assured.

I think I'll pick up a Lipo Sack before the race anyway. Since this is a ROAR Sancioned event are we allowed to run soft case lipo's?
