They fit just fine in the B44. Just take out the battery tray and use the posts. I put some lead on the chassis in between the batteries and some foam around the posts to make it a tight fit so the battery can't move. The colors go great with my Tekin speedo and motor too.

Hi
If i cut the bits out of the battery tray (the things that hold the nimh in) on my bj4we would the smc saddle pack lipo fit in the battery tray ?????

If they are the same size as the B44 ones, they should. I was going to do that to mine but my dremel died on my when I went to do it.

This past weekend I ran two 6 minute races back to back with a 6.5 with the prototype pack. Made run time just fine in the second race.

JST-XH Connector is what it uses, the same as reedy.

Stormer has them. I got mine in three days. $114.95. Oops, sorry I just realized they are out. I ordered mine Friday, whew.

I got sticker shock when I seen them for 175, might buy some at Stormer Hobbies. I'll have funds left to get a charger. I'll have to sell all of our 4600s and chargers. They're great packs but a little too heavy. We don't mind maintaining nimh batteries. At least with lipo you can hang-out at other pits.
