Default My Vintage Ride

Just finished painting up my JRX-Pro. Growing up I raced a JRX2 and never progressed further up the Losi chain, so I got this one recently to race in some vintage races. I painted it in the same scheme that my JRX2 was painted, and every vintage Losi car in the future will share this classic color scheme. The only difference is that there's not a big number 5 on the hood and passenger side window for lap counting LOL

Turbo Ultima IS vintage! I remember I used Trinity oushed 1700scr cells in my car (Yokomo YZ10), very expensive cells back then. Paid aroud 225 guilders (dutch currency then) for a set of 6. Had 10 packs for racing then! 225guilders was around 110dollar then!

I like that fwd whatever it is on the first page. I still can't tell if its ugly or not, looks like it is rear wheel steering, anyone know for sure what it is?

That may be called a Vintage race but any race that has XXX's running in it is hardly vintage. Most say nothing newer than the XX and some vintage races say that even they are too new.

I'm surprised I have never posted in this thread before... Here is my never-run mint condition Losi JRX-2 5link. This is the car that started it all for me, back in 1988 when I used to race as a Kid. Still trying to find an original body, period correct electronics, and a Revolution 27.5 turn stock motor!

From what I know of that race, the oldest buggy allowed is the XX. There are no XXX's running.
