Default HELP!!! ESC Issue

So I have a novak gtx esc and I went to direct solder the esc to the motor. I noticed the negative for the motor was blue but I only had negative black so I used that. now my steering works but my throttle doesnt!!!!! Why is this and how can I get it right? There isnt any current going to the motor. Not a receiver issue. When I press the gas it turns green which means it is sending current to the motor.

No. with brushed you run the red to the battery and the motor. blue to neg on motor and black to neg on battery.

The red wire you usually splice and extend that to the battery.

Don't you have the manual ?
