Default lipo voltage

I was wondering if there is a way to regulate the voltage from the battery to the esc. I have an 11.1v venom battery in a vxl rustler and it is just to much if i send less volts wont that mean less power the motor puts out?

Thanks for the reply

You could probably wire a series of resistors in-line, or you got just buy a 7.4 Lipo....

Try turning on "Training Mode" which limits throttle to 50%. Get a smaller pinion/larger spur, or just go down to 7.4v 2s lipo.
