Naw the voltage under load on Nimh packs drops way lower than Lipo's do. I have tested lots of Nimh packs and none hold the voltage that Lipo's do. Voltage=power

Dont get your Lipo went. They dont do good with water I have been told. Make sure you stop driving when the car slows down unless you get a LVC.
