Huh? Novak makes a 9T. What application?? Motor and spur with what batteries???

I use a 13T only my 8ight but use a 2550Kv motor on 4S with a 44T spur.

Default Mamba Monster Motor mounting question

For those who are running castle neu setup, can you guys tell me what size motor screw you end up using since the motor takes a 3mm screw and the losi motor mound is designed for a 4mm.

Also, did you guys have any fitting issues on 2650kv castle/neu motor?

Default L8ight model one-way

so i finally gave the one way a try from the losi L8ight model in my 8E this past weekend. man was that thing PLANTED! i could go super hard in the corner, tap the brakes to get the rear end to slide around while still keeping the corner speed from the one way. i picked up about a second to a second and a half on laptimes. it is worth it and it took everything i threw at it as well. that thing is going to saty there now!

Are you running the standard diff in the middle as well?

I would like to hear more feedback on this concept. I am not sure it would be a good idea to run the smart diff in the center and the one way in front. But, this one way is a good idea..

Hmm, so that means the center diff "Diffs" under braking. Meaning, that when the motor applies braking force, the rear wheels only receive what isn't lost on the front that now spins free. Interesting!

Very similar to rear brake bias.... but not quite as controlled. I would dial my brake EPA to make it controllable on loose conditions.

I took the front plate off and drilled/tapped mine for M4 screws. It's easy and you can get what you need at true value.

5Zigen - You can't use the little plastic thing under the motor with the Castle Neu motors. Just throw that peice in your spares box incase you decide to run the Losi Motor at some point.

Now... What are you guys doing for springs? My car seems Awful heavy for the stock silver springs.

Running Castle/Neu 2650 on 2-3S...

This thing is a porker! I've got black springs up front and still thinking about going to the Truggy Greys!

Let me know if anybody else is having these issues.

eh? Why not just dremel it down a little there professor? I use a finned Neu and use that little booger. Some sand paper or a dremel makes pretty quick work of any interference.

Hey! That makes sense! I didn't think to dremel the thing!

As for running 2 3S Lipos... I apologize... I meant 2 OR 3S. I run a 2S on our tight indoor track and 3S on our bigger outdoor tracks.
