Ours are mounted to the cut down radio tray, on the Tekno it is in the radio box and the other is velcro attached to the front bulkhead.

Hey guys. What does the MMM do when LVC is hit while driving? Just so I know when I hit it. I got mine set at 3.2v per cell. Is that good enough to be around 80% maybe? I know I have to time my runs to get really close.

It stops....for awhile and if there is enough re-bound voltage will run slow for awhile. 3.2 is good, I run 3.0 but never hit it as a result of being careful with my calculations.

Hey Chuck where were you yesterday? I was the lone e guy at rev.

So it will flat out stop then for awhile. I wasnt sure because I know my heli goes into a power pulse. I think a complete stop is also an option.

Yes, but the battery doesn't let it sit all the way down, and you won't get enough air over the electronics. I used one of my old nitro bodies while my E body was in the paint booth. It can work, but I wouldn't recommend it.

i have used the jconcepts nitro body and i have only overheated once in 3 years of having mine converted, and that is only with the 2 vent holes cut out.

I started out running my 2.0E with the stock race roller setup. I just changed the setup to Adam Drake's 08 Neobuggy setup. I really like how it drives now! I think the thing that changed it most was changing the center diff from 5k to 7k oil. It really has alot more on power steering. The only thing different on mine is I don't have the adjustable hinge pin mounts.
I'm still astounded at how good the Castle-Neu combo is working out. After a hard 10 min of running I put 1600 mah back in my 5s 4000 pack. The only issue I'm having is running it on my backyard track. It's tight for the 1/8 scale and even running it on 4s keeping the same gearing as 5s it's running on the warm side. I guess lower speeds are harder on the system.

Wow I really like where these brushless systems are going. I've always wanted the Kyosho Inferno buggy just because of what people have told me about it. Nitro always seemed the way to go, because you could refuel a lot easier and faster. But Nitro is pretty expensive! The cars in themselves tend to be on the messy side. Electrics on the other hand are a lot easier on maintanence per se, but its expensive to pile up on battery packs to have longer play time. Nitro exhaust has always irratated my eyes though.

It's still up in the air, as I haven't started saving for one yet. But the 8ight-E just may be a great birthday gift for myself when the time comes.
And it's so much cheaper than the MP9.

Doesnt seem like these cars would have too much of a problem competing with the gas versions...

Running in grass makes for alot more rolling resistance than on a track and tends to make things get hot faster. Might be your problem in the yard.

I'm not running it on grass. I have a track in my backyard.
