Did your virus software pop up during installation? Mine did, and it wouldn't allow it to work. I then installed it on a "Less protected" machine, and it worked fine.

I know that for some reason we had to restart one comupter that I connected my ESC to. You might try that, and also disable all the Virus protection like the other guys mentioned.

On the antivirus thing, some programs are overly sensitive. I use AVG and it tends to pick up a lot of false detections.

If you ever get a virus detected on a file from a reputable source you can run it through an online scan like this one. It runs the file against multiple vendor's definitions and gives all results. If the file is only detected as viral on a few of the dozen or so vendors you can usually assume it's clean.

that is good news on the software HP. I can't wait to upgrade mine and run it.

I went a little stiffer with the springs on mine. Went to black in the rear and green in the front. With the stock setup I was slapping the chassis on big landings. That was upsetting the rear of the buggy. The stiffer springs seemed to help a bunch on the big landings. But we are talking some pretty bug jumps. We where racing on the worlds track at the farm in NC. And at badlands in SC. I guess it all depends on what you are racing on.

If you call Losi, they basically tell you the same thing. Disable AVG, and REINSTALL the software. When you do, AVG shouldn't interfere the next time(it should be off). Then, reboot again. Try the USB again. It took me a couple tries, but it will work.

Anyone have issues running Kyosho plastic spurs. Had to do quite a bit of work to get em to clear the chassis.

You should be able to run the Kyosho plastic 44 tooth with no problem.

I'm getting ready to install my 46, but thinking about waiting to get the 44...

I got a DX3S for Xmas, so I just installed the Telemetry receiver and Temp Sensor on the motor. That way, I don't have to leave the driver's stand until the battery runs out.

Well I got a nitro Eight coverted to an E. But the 46 should clear. I had to dremel down the the mount and chassis a bit to get the spur to clear since the Kyosho is a bit wider then the stock losi spur.
