Hey guys. This is my first post on this forum. I am not sure if this is the right thread, I did not see one dedicated to the 8ight-T so maybe you can help me out. I am converting my 8t this week an am looking for a suggestion for gearing. I am going to be running a Hobbywing 150a xerun, a Hobbywing 1800kv motor, and using 4s 5000mah Lipos. The truck will be 80% track and 20% bashing.

Most RTRs come with black grease in the diffs. Just clean the gears and diff cups really good. I normally use brake cleaner because it blasts it out as well as cleans off the side of the diff cups. Make sure to clean the lid as well. Then fill with diff oils. 5000 front 7000 center and 3000 rear are good starting points. Drake uses 2000 in the rear. That is the cheapest way.

Hello guys.
I just bought a used Losi 8ight e- 2.0 buggy.
It looks just like the one on the 1st. page of this thread.
A couple of questions: What up dates/improvements are the most important to get this buggy up to 3.0 spec. ? (shocks, chassis etc.)
Also where can I find a set-up sheet for indoor for this buggy.
Everything on Losi's site is for the 3.0
Thanks for the help.

Anyone wanting a bearing kit for a 8ight 2.0 hit me up. I have a new 58 piece kit that I'm selling for cheap.

Hey guys,
I have converted a 2.0 to E with losi conversion kit. Using the proline bulldog nitro body, it budges kinda to the battery side.
Its hobbyking 4500mah hardcase, 45mm height.
I wont be able to get the E body till a weeks time, im assuming the e body has higher side clearance for the battery? :S

Those packs will fit under the E body, unless you want to put them all the way forward.

Anyone know if a 8 3.0 body will fit pretty well on a 2.0? It looks blocky in the pics compared to a 2.0?
