I recently bought a 8ight-e roller and when I did a camber check both the front and rear were at -6 caber. does anyone know the length of the turnbuckles when it is stock before I start to change the camber using the positions on the rear hubs. This is also with both hubs set in the center position.

I got the 10 degree carriers and inclined spindles in the mail today . Did the steering mod to them...came out nice.

I am not sure what mod you need on the buggy but on the truggy I have learned about 3 things people often do:

1. Dremel the arms so the wheels do not rub (depends on brand of wheels)
2. Use the +2mm hubs
3. Switch the steering turnbuckle to the outside (flip the servo horn 180)

I'm guessing that magnum is talking about trimming off part of the spindle to get more throw.

I haven't tried this yet because I find that I have plenty of steering on the tracks I run on.

Yeah, this was required during the first issue of the inclined spindles. I believe Losi made a rolling change and removed more material to increase the throw. We are going back a few years now!

oic, thanks for the insight. i kinda thought that was the mod but wasnt sure. I got plenty of steering myself, i was just wondering what mod this was as i also have the 10 deg.

I have wondered about this and the set I just bought from AMain last month (May 2012) had to be modified like the pics in the nitro threads.
So according to the spindles I have there does not seem to be any change that has occurred from a few years back to now.

I am not sure what is going on but I remember reading about this a few years back and no one I know has done this mod in recent times.

I do remember reading the same thing but it does not seem like it actually happened
I ordered them hoping to get the mentioned newer version that supposedly had more steering throw without any mods
Just didn't work out like that though
