White springs?

Those are for the truggy, aren't they?

I run 40f 30r and silver/green or green/black, depending on the surface condition.

20 min on a 3S 2650 isn't going to happen. 4S Toned down Might pending your throttle finger and tire spin.

SCTE and 1/8E are two totally different animals.

thanks integra, i was thinking that 3s would be a long shot for a 20 min run. im ordering 4s tommarow, i want to get a 2050 or 1900 t-8 down the road, the lower kv should give me longer run time because there not as demanding as a higher kv motor, a little more effictent, (i think), but the 4s will be a better match for the lower kv motor in the future. thanks again

I been debating on getting some aluminum inclined spindles and carriers. I would love to hear any opinions or suggestions on these. Should I go with the 10 degree or the 12 degree? Thanks

I'm looking to get a 1700-1900kv motor for my 4s setup. As it is right now I'm running 14/45 and 85% epa.

1700 will be on the money, and there should be room to gear up.

I run the 10 on my nitro ,just ordered the E so I bought another set of 10's for it. 10 will be better for off power ,the bad thing is if you push the car at all in corners you push like a dump truck, for me it was easy to get used to.i haven't tried the 12's but those will be better for on power.

Since I'm new to electric and I have a few questions I wanna ask.

1. For speed what would be the best gearing?
2. Would you use Metal or plastic gears?
3. I'm still not understanding the difference in all the lipo battery terminology. Could some one explain in my set up what lipo I would use??

That's all I could think of for now... Ill Think of more later
anybody want to help me with my questions???

Carriers are 10 degree then the chassis has a kick up of 12 with a total of 22 degrees . The difference between the inclined and stock are on the inclined, the king pins are at an incline

If I understand correctly, the 10 degree carriers will be the same as stock?

I use my car for racing only with a 14 tooth pinion and a 45 tooth spur (1900kv Tekin). With your 2200, I would probably start with a 13 tooth pinion and keep track of the motor temps. I have only used a 4s battery, but a 5s would probably be fun for bashing. I would definately use metal gears over plastic. They make a little more noise but are much stronger.

1. You could stay with stock gearing and get plenty of speed but it all depends on the lipo you use.

2. Plastic spur gears are fine.

3. 1S = 1 Lipo Cell the more cells the more HP or top end speed can be acheived when geared correctly, most common for this buggy is 4S. MAH (milliamps) is like your gas tank size most common are in the 4000=6000mah range, the more amps the heavier the pack will be, I would suggest 5000mah+. C discharge rating is how efficient the lipo puts out power, kind of like the torque power.

If you are gonna bash and do speed runs I suggest these two lippos, best bang for the buck for 5S.

for speed runs you'd be best with 6s, might as well get the most voltage

Gearing I'd start 14 then get 16, 18

Batteries are what you can afford, you may want to consider buying 2 3s and series wire them, might end up a little cheaper and be easier to sell if it dont work out

yes, BUT if you want to run the inclined spindles you MUST run the inclined carriers too.

I dunni, they seem to work great on buggy on our track.. My nitro buggy loves this setup.

Anyhow, I will try going up in oil weight in the front and see what happens.

THanks!
