Gonna have to weigh mine at the track tomorrow. I'm running the Matrix Concepts CF Chassis and about to put on the TLR CF shock towers. I'm real curious what it weighs.

D-money, you gonna be at OCRC this weekend? I'll be there both Sat & Sun

Right on, good luck at Rev and hopefully I'll see you on Sunday. Can't wait to try out OCRC's new layout. I was watching the races on LiveRC and the new layout looks really fun!

Lipo question for my Losi 8ight-e with RX8 or MMM combo. What is better 4s 5000 hard case with 50c or 65c? Not racing but looking to possibly get into it. I have a thunder power 4s 5000mah 40c now but looking to get another battery.

40C is more than plenty IMO. I'm having good luck with some 4000 25-50c nanotechs.

Does anyone know how thick are these new Losi 8B 2.0 Carbon Towers?

I still wont run anything other than sensored in most of my light 1/10 stuff.. but after switching to the castle 1410 in my scte I'm turning faster laps and more consistent laps than I have with any other vehicle I've owned. Sensored doesn't mean much vs a quality sensorless setup iMO, but if you have a weak link and cog or have setup issues, it will make an impact. If you crash a lot sensored may save you a second over a full main as from a dead stop there is no delay at all, but as far as being in control on jumps or in turns etc.. thats skill and practice with either setup iMO.

What sensorless motor are you running......Castle? Have the Tekin 1900 now, but I was looking at the 2200 Castle motor.

If I convert my Losi to E will this body work or will the motor cut out let too mutch dust in? I hate not to use the body since it is one race old.

I've been running the holes on my body and it's fine from what I can tell.

Is it a Stock Roller aside from the Mmp/1700 and 4500's ?

you should be Right on par with me Scott, Matrix Tower's Vs Losi, but they should be near the same if anything a touch heavier due to being the older 1.0 style.

Im very well aware of tire weight, These were 99% my #'s

That's a nice list, good to know I don't any more of the really heavy tires anymore.

Another reason I don't like proline is the amount of putty it takes to get them balanced.

Last of a legacy I think.. awesome motor! The Tekno Lektron 2200kv, it's basically a 1415 (550) 2200kv but it has the tekno mount built into it saving weight. This motor rips stays nice and cool in my tekno 8ight-e. I run 4s hyperion 5500 packs for the most part.

That castle 1y 2200 (1515) is WAY TOO MUCH motor for a buggy.

If you buy any castle motor for your buggy other than the 1512 1800kv I would get the 1415 (2400kv 550) I mentioned and run it on 3s or 4s geared low. It will be more than enough.

Do you run a different setup because your car is lighter? I have the cf chassis and towers also.
