K-Line, it depends on what your going to use the buggy for. If your bashing then heck yeah it will go fast!! If your racing, then you might not be able to use all that power on 4s. Unless your a top line pro that is, I know I'm not. Some I know run 3s & say it's a lot more forgiving on the track.

3S 2650 is a great combo. You don't get great runtime but with a 5000 battery you should go 7+ easy. 10 might be pushing it depending on the size of the track.

Most guys are in the 1700-1900KV range on 4S.

Running all of 25 minutes on 1400/4s. Love the smoothness and it lacks 0 power for the high bite 70x110 indoor track. Geared 16/45 and just barely runs 100* esc and motor. Thinking of going up to 18/45 but I want to get
the handling issues figured out first.

Here is my new Losi Eight-E 2.0

It has a Tekin 2050 Kv motor with an RX8 Esc w/ a 3s 6500 mah battery. This thing is soooo fast. I came from a 2wd slash to this. I have an 8 year old cousin with down syndrome and he even said this buggy was retarded!

Is that the proline slipstream body or stock? How do you like it?

Thanks Buggyking!

It is the stock Losi body that came with the race roller. I just finished it up this evening but so far it's a perfect fit. The first body I painted was a JC concepts body. I have painted many bodies before but the JC body was the first one that the paint actually flaked off. It looked good though.

What Conversion kit is a favorite around this part?

Is the Tekno worth the extra cash over the Losi kit?

Default Matrix Concepts Inc - Complete Carbon Fiber Kit For The Losi 8ight.

The Matrix Concepts Inc Carbon Fiber Kit Is Awesome. I highly recommend the complete kit. Integra runs this kit- if you have any specific setup questions- send a pm to Integra or post on this thread. See link below.

Default motor options

Ok quick overview, converting losi 8ight 2.0 race roller into electric. I have a mamba monster esc. and 2 3s 8000 lipos. I need motor options. Our track is a 27sec track.. not to big, 20 min mains. I need to find a motor that will be fast enough down the strait, but also need to not drain a battery as so it will last the 20 mins. I previously ran a CC 2650kv motor in a hyper 9e never timed it..it was never on the track. Sold it with the electronics.. looking for another motor. It had great power but not sure if it had the run time. I ran 4s in it and it was OVERKILL Just wondering what other motors will be good on 3s?

The 2650 motors are great on 3s.

J, do you think ill will be able to get 15-20mins run time with it? I loved the motor in my 9e, I know its an awesome powerplant.. just worried about runtime with it.

Are you going to use the 3s 8000mah with it (2650kv)?
I ask because guys at my track were getting 18-20 minutes out of a 5000mah in a SLASH 4X4 using that setup.
I know the load is different but I feel like you could with the 8000mah.
