Losi 1/8 8ight E 4wd Thread
#4817

What is a stock center spur on the 8ight-E 2.0? 46? I'm on 6S/1400kv and trying to see what pinion/gearing would work well for a medium sized track.
Also, are the setups on the losi page pretty dialed, or are they old news?
Thanks!!

When I said medium sized track, I was actually refering to Scale Hobbies, not Asylum. Asylum is pretty big to me and would need some tall gearing for that looooong straight

Btw, I'm not sure I met you, maybe i did. Met lots of people this last weekend. Thanks!!

HI, Im still in the middle of converting my Losi 8 2.0 and i purchased the motor mount from Rcmonster.
now the cobnversion kit comes with that part that blocks the hols on the chassis but the rcm mount comes with a spacer(whatever you call it) that i attach the columns that hold the diff. Which should i use? both? just one?
the part is shown in this pic.

Glad you piped up. I'm going to try and make Reo this weekend.

. If I make it out to Reo, I'd love some help cuz I have no idea what v208 and TP2 means. I'm on 6S, Tekin 1400kv, and MMP.

in reference to Tekin RX8 software so it won't do you any good. Although I understand that CC has similar timing advance software?
Anyway, I'll be at Reo and will help you all that I can. I'm not sure if we met either btw!
Hope to see you Saturday.

imo they will be .. otherwise its a market they are missing out on
maybe Allen has convinced his little brother to build another skatepark instead of a factory ready brushless truggy

Was I the only person disappointed by the 8ight-Te body announcement. It's litterally a T body without cutouts. The scallop behind the big flat area in the bed is still offset to one side where a nitro engine would be and they didn't cut a hole in the windshield. If anything it's now easier to produce, but it's 10 bucks more than a Proline bulldog...
