My 2 month old 2.0 arms are all bowing/twisting just like 8ight arms are known for. The front suspension design forces the arm to bend so its gonna happen. I'm fine with it and just replace them when they get too far out of shape.

Ready for the shootout!! Completly rebuilt after seven days of club racing and a Jimmy Babcock round of neglect. Thought id show it off while it's clean. By the way paint was by DGDesigns if anybody is in the market search him he's an amazing guy with talent and a SoCal local.

Correct...you need the 3.5mm pins for the rear arms and also the rear hubs or you can drill your stock one's.

Nice Ride -WHEELMAN-

Also, anyone with a converted 8ight-t-e, what bodies work, any of the normal 8ight-t boddies?

Truggy bodies have plenty of room for just about anything you want to do.

Default New spacers in shock rebuild kit?

All,

Losi has supplied some different washers in the plastics (pistons, spacers, etc.) for rebuild and have been told to use one of the new thin washers per shock between the 2 o-rings. Now this would make the entire "stack" a bit shorter.

Has anyone have any experience with this??

Where do you get those captured ball studs for the steering turnbuckles? The ones on my 8ight 1.0 aren't captured and they tend to pop out after a little knock. Thanks

They are just screws and are from the 2.0 kit.

Just put a washer on top of the ball before you put the screw in. Thats what I have on my 1.0. Works fine. Will bind a little at full droop, just bend the edge up a little to clear the tie rod end if it binds.

the 1.0 balls will NOT allow a washer prior to going through the ball as the Ball Is the screw....you need the 2.0 balls and a flat head to make it pop proof.

Default 8ight-E 2.0: Opinions

What is everyone's opinion on the Losi 8ight-E 2.0 vs the Assoc RC8Be?

Since you can only buy the 8ight-E 2.0 with the electronics, what is everyone's opinion on that too? Would you go racing with the Losi electronics and expect them to last 6+ months, or would you yank them out and sell as new, and then buy new electronics?
