I got mine from A main as well... can't beat the price!

I just tried a different lash to see if it would quiet down, no luck. I tried some gear lube I had laying around, just to see if it would do anything at all about the noise... still freakin LOUD! I'll test it tomorrow, and see if the temps go down without sacrificing speed or run time. If it's not impressive, I'll go back to the Losi pinon, and just order a 14T.

Now that is a smokin' deal. I paid almost $800 for mine from Ultimate Hobbies. It is still sealed in the box.....I wonder if I can send it back?

Far out, that's crazy. I think it has been asked before, but does anyone know how many of these are being made since they are limited?
8ight 2.0 is out now and some places have crazy deals on the 8ight.
If you are looking at building an 8ight-E from scratch, now is the time to do it

I notice that Losi removed the Race Roller from their website but still have the 8IGHT kit listed on their site. Surely the 8IGHT is discontinued?

With the marginal differences between the original and the 2.0, it makes sense to phase the old ones out. I'm certain you'll be able to get parts for it for a long long time.

Later on I am looking at getting another charger. That one seems pretty good, especially for the price

I figured I would give you guys an update.

The car is running great still. Very consistent temps and performance. Still very smooth and powerful. We had a guy with a converted 8t come out Thursday with the Losi system in his car. He said he ran it a lot earlier that day, but for some reason when he showed up at the track that night, the car wouldn't budge. We determined it was not the motor, and he went in and bout another Losi ESC and hasn't had another Problem. There are a few more guys getting the Losi system in the next week or so, so we will see how the durability is. So far the failure rate is a hell of a lot better than the MMM! haha

Here is a picture of my car, not the greatest, but Im gonna throw it up anyway.

Looks sharp! I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate the scoops into the trim scheme, looks like you pulled it off nicely. I'm gonna run mine "naked" at the races today(clear, no paint). It'll get some paint some time this week.

Let us know, we're curious as to how that one will perform.

Nice paint on that body...can't wait to get my 8ight-E going. I'm going with a Neu 1512 2.5d/f and MMM with Losi conversion kit on a new pro comp kit. All these videos and pics....gotta get mine finished soon! More videos please...

That's an awesome price...take into consideration the 10% discount amain is offering...you can pickup one up for only $315! Great deal on an awesome buggy. I just purchased a new pro kit off ebay that was assembled but never ran with King Headz chassis braces for $375 shipped. That's a pretty good deal but this Amain price is unheard of
