I got mine earlier this year and it only had 3mm holes. I just drilled and tapped them for 4mm screws. Much more solid than 3mm screws and they fit the losi mount how they are supposed to. You can buy a nice 4mm drill/tap set from dubro for under $10 if you don't already have one. It's pretty easy to tap out the aluminum. Just make sure you remove the end bell from the motor to tap it so you don't damage the motor internals.

A friend of mine used 3mm screws to hold a Nue motor on his 4mm Losi mount with no problems. He is a way smooth driver too, no lawn darting over jumps etc., so this may have helped. make sure you double check the length of your screws so you don't damage the motor.

Use this chart to figure out your gearing...

http://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_top_speed.html

I'd gear for around 40mph and work around there.

I actually haven't checked my runtime with only 5 minute quals and 10 minute mains. 20 minute run times will be tough, what motor are you running?

yeah you won't get 20 minutes with the 2650 and 4s. But as far as I've heard you should be able to get close with the 1800 and 5s or 6s. It's supposed to run cooler and speed should be about the same compared to what you are starting out at.

I am going to get1 5400 proteck 4s and 1 6500 Max amps 4s. I was hoping to get really close or better than 20mins. I just want to run electric with gas a bet them in a fair race.

It will be hard to get to 20 min with the 2650. Might want to look into the 8000mah 3S.

You can run 3S with the 2010 ROAR rules.

See page 66 of the ROAR rule book.
http://www.roarracing.com/downloads/..._Rule_Book.pdf

The other way is go low KV to make the system more effecient. I think you will need more then 5000mah to get 20 min still.

Problem is that will never be a fair race. Electrics have a large performance advantage over nitro buggies.
