wow...i pretty much had to use the entire set screw to get my droop to 95/106....
but i've got my droop set
camber at -1/-2
total front toe out is 4* (2*/side)
rear is 3 as/ 3 toe (stock)
54/40ae front
56/30ae rear
long ackerman
2.3mm sways front/rear (don't really seem to do much of anything)
i made copies of all the 8-e setup sheets...and compared them and took whatever the majority of people ran (all sheets were VERY similar anyways)
as for the bumpsteer....on a setup sheet it just shows the end link ball facing up and down....and, every sheet seems to use the down setting.....but, is that for BOTH of the ball ends, or just one or the other? it's not very clear to me.
and lastly...i just gotta get some new diff fluid and redo my diffs and then figure gearing.
man this is a lot of work!
would a center or front smart diff really be worth it over stock? or maybe a slipperential

I have been running two losi 4 cells for almost 3 months. I only charge them at 3 amps through the balancing connector. Never had a problem. The only problem I had is I broke one wire each on the balance connector due to the way I was strapping them in. What are you charging them at? Sorry to hear that.........

No matter what setup you run you will HAVE to drive the E buggy different if you have a "nitro" finger. You have to understand that between the clutch and the spool up of the rpm's of a nitro it takes a bit to build max power. BL cars are INSTANT torque. There is no forgiveness. Turn your esc down as much as you can and try your best to "squeeze" the trigger. Remember the throttle input is variable, it doesnt have to be used as a light switch!
BTW, the kit setup isnt that bad if you dont blow the tires off of it!

1. slightly more rear traction
2. on kit setup I have some "bounce" landing off jumps, ideally would get rid of this and have it settle on 1st landing!

Dave,
When you say "rear traction" are you needing more forward bite or side bite?
Is the buggy bouncy when you down side or just flat landers? How bout the rough sections.
We all have to remember that these setups are baseline and will probably need a few tweaks to adjust the buggy to our own personal driving styles.

What OS are you installing the software on?
Never heard of a USB problem. I know Vista and Windows 7 have issues though.
Check the Losi forum as well. Tons of info on there about that ESC.
