Look in my Trader Rating for ManicRC. He sells quality fans cheaper than the RC manufacturers.

You don't want the rear suport to actually touch the motor, the chassis flex would apply excess pressure to the rear of the motor. The fans are hit and miss. My first one stopped immediately, the second one I have is working great. My First speedo fan I replaced with a Novak 30mm clear fan and it was great. The pinions just need to be tightened with a GOOD wrench the correct size. I havent had one come off ever.

For the FEMALE end of the connector to match the stock one on the speedo, see horizon hobbies and search EC5

I totally agree. I have never had the screw on the 15T ever come out, but the others with the small screw are always coming loose. Makes no sense to me having such a small screw with that big pinion.

The 2.0 is 2mm longer but will work with the 1.0 chasi. JConcepts also has a nice E body!

Anyone know if the losi convertion kit will work on a 8t 2.0? Or is there some modding involved?

I use the JConcepts body. It's listed as an "8ight-E 2.0" body, but it fits just fine on my 1.0 buggy.

the losi e conversion parts bolt right in to an 8t 2.0 with no mods necessary.

Try a 14 T I think that will be plenty low..... your kit comes with 15/16 T pinions. Use the 15 if you have nothing else!

Try a 4S 5000mah lipo atleast a 25C or 30C.

For the pinion, start with 15t.

Try 13 or 14T. 15T will make it run pretty warm. I'm running the same motor.

why would a smaller pinion make it thermal more? if anything, it'll be undergeared.

and the previous owner ran it on 12t with no issues...nor does the 4-5 other locals have issues running theirs the same??????
