What has Roar done for me lately ?

Ok can someone give me the url for the official 2009 roar rules? Ive looked on roar's site and cannot find them. I heard that for super stock that you cant run 19t brushed motors anymore only 13.5 brushless, this sounds retarded to me, i hope this isnt true since i am still running brushed motors.

I do have a question. Since Mod is not an "open class" shouldn't you have to run products that are available to all racers? Does ROAR have a rule for this since it is not an invite class.
If ROAR is all about a level playing field how come I go to ROAR races and watch guys run products that are not even out to the public. What level playing field do we have if certain people get to run stuff that is not out yet. Shouldn't that be for an invite class only?

Yes, mostly because of ROAR and IFMAR rules that have been established over the years. There has been lots of stuff that was different, but most died off because they didn't confirm to the rules.

Vehicles, parts, and accessories used in STOCK CLASSES must be readily available through retail outlets at least 14 days prior to the event.
So Mod is open within the limits of the general competition rules for motor, size, weight, ect.
ROAR did however let a Kyosho prototype truck (not available yet) run in the masters class which is covered by super stock rules.
So I should have finished one position higher up in the masters class at the nats had the rules been followed.

Can be found by clicking the "Rules" link in the top menu.
Approved Brushed Motors Link - http://www.roarracing.org/approvals/smotor.php
Oddly enough, can be found under the "Approvals" link.
